Beschreibung: Our research is directed at the coordination of plant growth and development with stress and immune responses. Our experimental work elucidates the molecular mechanisms that control these processes by using state-of-the-art techniques from molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, cell biology and structure biology.
Methoden: The project focuses on the molecular and functional characterization of a novel protein complex that is required for TE silencing and the maintenance of genome integrity in meristematic cells.It will include protein interaction studies using biochemical and imaging based methods as well as identification and characterization of suppressor mutants for individual components of the complex.
