Beschreibung: The SFB 1039 „Signalling by fatty acid derivatives and sphingolipids in health and disease“ is a Collaborative Research Center funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) at the Medical Faculty of the Goethe-University Frankfurt.

Presently there is a free

in the group „Mechanisms of chronic and neuropathic pain“. The project focusses on the role of oxidized lipids at the interface of neurobiological and immunological mechanisms that are involved in pathophysiological pain conditions. We use biochemical, neurobiological, cell biological as well as pharmacological methods and in vivo models.
Preference will be given to disabled applicants with equal qualifications. The Goethe-University expressly encourages qualified women to apply.

We invite highly qualified and motivated candidates to apply. Applicants should hold a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry or similar. We expect the ability to work in a team, basic knowledge of cell and molecular biology, and a high intrinsic motivation E13 65 %.
