Beschreibung: Aim is the development, implementation and testing of opti-cal imaging technologies (OCT, 2-photon microscopy, FLIM) in dermatology. Special focus will be given to develop endo-scopic solution for imaging inside the tissue. Scientific work will start at the Institute of Biomedical Optics, and later be continued at the Manstein Lab at CBRC in Boston.
Methoden: We expect a Diploma or Master’s degree with high distinc-tion in Physics, Informatics, Mathematics or Engineering. The ideal candidate is highly dedicated to work in an inter-disciplinary team of physicists, biologists, and engineers and willing to change his residency during the Ph.D. We expect programming skills in Matlab and LabVIEW and experiences in optics and image processing.
